Alec Baldwin complains that John Oliver and Stephen Colbert have turned their shows into “grand juries”

“Talk shows were once promotional pit stops for some blithe chit chat about movies, etc. Now the likes of @iamjohnoliver and @StephenAtHome have flipped that and they are beginning to resemble grand juries,” Baldwin tweeted this morning. The tweet, which apparently was sent out of outrage over Oliver’s sparring with Dustin Hoffman, is puzzling since Oliver doesn’t usually conduct celebrity interviews on Last Week Tonight. Baldwin's tweet also comes less than a week after Oliver appeared to take a "veiled shot" at Baldwin's Trump impression. ALSO: Michael Rapaport calls Oliver a “selfish f*ck” for his treatment of Hoffman.
