CBS enlists One Day at a Time and Star Trek: Discovery to plug holes in its fall schedule until regular shows return in November

Season 4 of Pop TV's One Day at a Time and Season 1 of CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery will air on CBS since the broadcast network currently has no scripted dramas and comedies ready to air. Many shows haven't even begun production. One Day at a Time's seven episodes that aired earlier this year will help fill CBS' lineup. Star Trek: Discovery, which originally premiered on CBS in September 2017 before moving to CBS All Access, returns to the network on Sept. 24. CBS will also use the CBS News-produced The FBI Declassified to help fill out its lineup.
