Comedy Central renews Trevor Noah’s Daily Show through 2022

The five-season renewal will include the addition of Daily Show year-end specials. Noah, who celebrates his two-year anniversary as Daily Show host on Sept. 28, has averaged 1.5 million viewers this year, up 14% from last year. “Trevor makes us look smart on a daily basis, and for that we're grateful," says Comedy Central president Kent Alterman.
