Emma Thompson to star in BBC and HBO's Years & Years as a celebrity-turned-politician

The two-time Oscar-winning actress will star in the limited series playing Vivienne Rook, "an outspoken celebrity-turned-politician, whose controversial opinions divide the nation." Years & Years, a co-production of the BBC and HBO, is from Russell T Davies, who led the Doctor Who revival from 2005 to 2010.
