Friends from College becomes Netflix's third Presidents' Day cancelation

"Friends from College will not be returning for a third season," tweeted co-creator Nicholas Stoller Monday night. "Thanks to everyone who watched it. Happy Presidents’ Day!" Friends from College, premiering in July 2017 to disappointing reviews, featured a big-name cast that included Fred Savage, Billy Eichner, Keegan-Michael Key, Nat Faxon, Annie Parisse, Jae Su Park and Cobie Smulders. The cancelation comes hours after Netflix cut ties to the rest of its Marvel series, announcing the cancelations of Jessica Jones and The Punisher for a total of three cancelations on the Presidents' Day holiday. Netflix is no stranger to canceling shows at unusual times. Iron Fist and Luke Cage were canceled on successive Friday nights back in October.
