Miami Vice's Michael Mann to direct Tokyo Vice pilot for HBO Max

The Oscar-nominated director and two-time Emmy winner has boarded the Japan-set drama series starring Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe as an executive producer. In addition, he'll direct the pilot and potentially helm more episodes if Tokyo Vice is picked up to series.
