Singh and Ruffin put to rest any notion that there was any tension between them with Peacock’s The Amber Ruffin Show taking over Singh's A Little Late Friday night rerun slot. In fact, Singh recalled her unequivocal support for the idea. “Yes! I want to support Amber! I love this! I love it, let’s do it!,” Singh said. She added: “I thought this was such a beautiful thing, of two women riding or dying for each other." To which Ruffin said of any rumored tension: “I thought that was pretty disappointing.”
