TVLine founder Michael Ausiello's childhood is set to become a 1980s-set TV dramedy

The TVLine founder is going from reporting on TV to being the subject of a scripted TV show. Ausiello is teaming with J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot to develop a half-hour, single-camera, coming-of-age dramedy based on his "TV-obsessed, closeted-gay childhood in small-town New Jersey during the 1980s." Ausiello is writing the script for the untitled project.
