Titans special effects crew member dies during a stunt accident

A crew member on the DC Universe series was killed Thursday after he was struck when a piece of a car broke off during a stunt rehearsal at the show's special effects facility. “We are heartbroken and devastated by the passing of our treasured colleague, special effects coordinator Warren Appleby, after an accident which occurred at a special effects facility during the preparation and testing for an upcoming shoot,” said a Warner Bros. spokesperson. Production on Titans was shut down for the day.
