Chris Pratt Questions His Memories in The Terminal List Trailer

The trailer can be watched forwards or backwards with different meanings.
  • Chris Pratt leaves viewers confused in the latest trailer for The Terminal List, which can be watched forwards or backwards with different meanings, said Amazon Prime Video in a statement.

Based on the novel by Jack Carr, the action series follows James Reece (Pratt), whose Navy SEALs platoon is ambushed during an operation. When he returns home to his family, his memories of the event are called into question, and as new evidence comes to light, it puts him and his family in danger.

The new trailer, released Wednesday, plays with the idea of an unreliable memory, as Pratt struggles to understand what happened.

"The idea is to show off that perception is everything, and is a clue to the psychological state of Chris Pratt’s character, Lt. James Reece, throughout the series," said Prime Video. "While Reece continues to doubt what he believes to be true, this will give the audience the chance to also begin to wonder the same thing as they join the character through his journey."

The Terminal List premieres July 1 on Prime Video.
