Duncanville Canceled After Three Seasons at Fox

Animated comedy Duncanville has been canceled after three seasons on Fox. According to TVLine, six episodes produced for a potential fourth season will drop exclusively on Hulu later this year.

Duncanville starred Amy Poehler as Duncan, a teenage boy who dreams of a world where he has everything. Duncan lives with his parents, meter maid Annie (also Poehler) and plumber Jack (Ty Burrell), and two sisters, voiced by Riki Lindholme and Joy Osmanski. Rashida Jones also voiced Duncan's friend and secret crush, Mia.

The series, which premiered in February 2020 as part of Fox's Animation Domination lineup, was created by Poehler, Mike Scully, and Julie Scully. Its cancellation comes just days after the Season 3 finale aired on Fox.

"Mike Scully, Julie Thacker Scully and Amy Poehler delivered a unique animated family comedy with a distinct voice and point of view that we are proud of. But we can confirm that this season will be its last on Fox," a spokesperson said in a statement. "We look forward to the opportunity to work with Amy, Mike and Julie in the future."

Duncanville is available to stream on Hulu.
