West Side Story Hits Streaming, The Amazing Race Wraps Season 33

    Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story makes its streaming debut today on both Disney+ and HBO Max. The unsual two-platform release comes just a few weeks before the 94th Academy Awards, where the movie musical is up for seven awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.

    Also today: Season 33 of The Amazing Race finally reaches the finish line after an eighteen-month COVID delay, Netflix drops the third and final installment of Kanye West’s Jeen-Yuhs, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman say goodbye for the season. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    West Side Story: Streaming premiere. Steven Spielberg and Tony Kushner’s movie musical arrives on streaming less than three months after it debuted in theaters. The 2021 film stars newcomer Rachel Zegler as Maria, Ansel Elgort as Tony, and Ariana DeBose as Anita. Watch trailer. Streaming on Disney+ and HBO Max

    The Amazing Race: Season 33 finale. The remaining four teams race to cross the finish line in a two-hour finale. The winners will go home with $1 million, but first they’ll need to fly from Lisbon to Los Angeles. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

    Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy: Act 3: Awakening. Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah follow Kanye West as he struggles with his mental health, announces a bid for president, and reflects on his legacy in the final chapter of the three-part documentary. Streaming on Netflix

    DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Season 7 finale. Gideon (Amy Pemberton) is horrified when AI Gideon tells her about Gary (Adam Tsekhman), while Sara (Caity Lotz) keeps an important secret from Ava (Jes Macallan) because she doesn't know how she'll react. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on The CW

    Batwoman: Season 3 finale. Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) and a panicked Bat Team (Nicole Kang, Camrus Johnson) must race against the clock as Marquis's (Nick Creegan) nefarious plan balloons. Watch preview. 9:00 PM ET on The CW

    Against the Ice: Original film. Game of Thrones alum Nikolaj Coster-Waldau wrote and stars in this drama based on the story of Denmark's 1909 polar expedition. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Next Level Chef: Season 1 finale. The final three contestants must create dishes on all three levels of the kitchen in just 90 minutes. The winner will receive a $250,000 grand prize and a year-long mentorship with Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais. 9:00 PM ET on FOX

    Pam & Tommy: New episode. Tommy (Sebastian Stan) confronts Rand (Seth Rogen) about the tape in the parking lot of Dodge Stadium. Watch preview. Streaming on Hulu

    Chicago Med: New episode. As Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) assigns Med’s new compliance officer to a patient with long-haul COVID, Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) helps Will (Nick Gehlfuss) treat a patient who’s been in an iron lung for 60 years. Followed by new episodes of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    The Goldbergs: 200th episode. After learning no one made the deposit on the wedding venue, Geoff (Sam Lerner) scrambles to help fix the oversight before Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) finds out. Meanwhile, a major storm threatens to jeopardize Geoff and Erica’s (Hayley Orrantia) big day. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

    NBA Basketball: Two matchups get top billing on ESPN tonight:
